i cant post with my main account here because apparently there is a "zero tolerance policy" for calling dotabuff staff members by their first name, as funny as it sounds when their full name (first & last) is pasted on their steam profile, dotabuff github page and so on, they said this to me via support and when i promptly asked why they havent changed their real name to an alias or whatever, they didnt respond.
all i said was "Jason, Dotabuff Plus should be free" and when i came back to my pc, i couldn't delete, edit or post at all.

Every time I looked at his last 20 matches, there would be 1-3 games where he would have more more kills than deaths. I know kdr isn't that important, but there's no way in hell you should have equal kd or less for that many games, regardless of role you're playing.
Say you take a sample size of 20 games. You should win ~10 games. I know it's a pretty big generalization, but don't you think you would have higher kdr>1 when you're a support in a stomp or if you're a mid/carry in a win?

frostychee, say you played exclusively...tree, because you're a terrible person and hate fun. Your kd and kda will be low, just by the nature of the hero you're playing. About half the heroes in the game don't rack up kills - they set them up, or provide some other utility function. That's why KDA is a *better* metric than KD for determining game impact. Generally speaking, KDA is more statistically significant than KD. I'll use an example game I played from yesterday:
Look at our Venomancer, that feeding scrub! He's 1 and 6! By KD, he's worthless trash. Then you notice that other number, where he has 31 assists. 1-6-31 means he was doing amazing.
