As long as ice blast stops enemy from gaining any heal, pos 5 AA, every single meta.
maybe I need to try AA, seems to be very strong hero but I'm so awful with him
plus you need to combo with his spells 
I primarily use all his spells for zoning, can't really be bothered to do spell combos in solo queue.
At late games, most physical cores rely on lifesteal or heal, they either wait out your blast/ try to jump you before blast. So all boils down to your positioning and understanding of the game. Also, if the game goes super late, AA has the most broken talent in the game at 25.
