if valve gave me archon 4, my solo mmr should be atleast 3k respectively, its kinda weird
Archon 4 is 3080 mmr, 5 is 3220 and "pr0" legend starts at 3360!
So to answer teh dilemma, first medal you get according to your highest mmr you have ever been, so possibly in your lifetime, according to Valve API you have reached 3k in some point of your life and you got badge accordingly, in second season when you recalibrate badges will be more accurate to your current MMR!

medals doesn't exactly match the mmr number, i'm legend 5 at 4k mmr but a friend is legend 5 with 3k5 solo and no party mmr
it's just luck or whatever you want to call it

i just calibrated and finished my solo mmr few hours ago and valve give me a medal of archon 4 but my solo mmr is 2622 after finiishing 10 ranked matches. hows that possible?take note, i havent started calibrating my party mmr
