Im not telling you to lick their asses, do criticise them if you feel they are wrong, but try to understand the point they are trying to make. Mkb is a dps item for the right heroes like void and lc , it is also a utility item against any sort of evasion from items or passives.
^it adds way more farming speed than u think, and it helps u have the Mana Regen to keep spamming those dark pacts and pounces. 1 dark pact kills very few camps, the bf helps u clear em up, pounce to the next one, and have the Mana and hp to pact + cleave that camp too.
Slark shouldn't buy BF because he needs SB early to take people down.
Slark can't take people down early because OS frog messed everything up and the only way to dominate early game is to be paired against morons.
MKB is a DPS item.

/e nobody ever said mkb is not a DPS item btw. what i said is: its not a DAMAGE item anymore. it is an ATTACK SPEED item with a pure dmg proc and truestrike, which is why i recomment it on medusa instead of mjollnir btw. ofcourse it is a DPS item lul

U realize pure dmg goes through armor, meaning the dps is rlly fucking good.

Why BF? It doesn't add much farming speed to Slark, even if you are going afk farming. Dark Pact can be spammed and it does 400 damage AOE.

i also think that slark is nice coz you can go sb first and then go back for the battle fury, like all the pros do with yasha jug.
i would be inclined to trust matrice's experience with slark
