Never mind, googled it. That was almost definitely a bug and will not ever be implemented in Dota 2
Because Psi blades is meant to spill your autoattack, not all the damage you do. It also worked with the 99999 damage purges used to do against summoned units allowing you to instakill enemies that were behind the summoned unit you purged.
i remember u cud one shot someone with ta if they had enough illusions, like naga
u psiblades off the illusion and it amped the dmg
they should make this a talent actually,better than that paralyzing thing

yeha, maybe as level 15 talent would be pretty cool, coz at this time supports starting to get ghosts...
Someone who modded wc3 for 10 years:
In DotA 1, psi blades were implemented to take effect ON DAMAGE EVENT. Since wc3 doesn't have an "attack is completed" event (but there are workarounds to make it, which dota 1 devs didn't know fir a very long time), they used the "unit is damaged" event. This meant that every damage instance coming from TA (bigger than 5) caused the psi blades spill.

In Dota1, psi blades affected Dagon.. why is it still not fixed in almost 8 years of Dota2? I think it would be a very cool feature for the hero.
