literally had a spell that made an illusion that couldn't move or attack, it just kinda sat there.
it wan't DotA, it was pre 6.18 DotA, which mens until september 2005, DotA kept being maintained until 2013. so thats 8 years of DotA without that invoker
I don't thnk he was broken, but he was so difficult to play. and the abilities were quiet similar, each of invoker abailities is very unique and fills a different niche
27 spells was super bad. invoke had very high cooldown back then and spells werent very impactful. also you could only keep 1 spell at a time iirc
