I just rekt a game as PA and it felt no different than a 3k game.
According to the Dota wiki, I am a 4.6k player. That doesn't make sense. This doesn't feel like a 4.6k game... it feels more like 4.0 max.
It's just bugged out. The system still uses your mmr to match you with other players and balance the teams.
I think medals have been bugged for quite some time. There's been multiple posts about this. Perhaps my medal is also bugged. Life as a herald is bad especially in dotabuff due to poor social standing.
yes. My MMR is currently 3910. I have 9 games to go for party.
However, my MMR has been as high as 4955 in the past, and I have spent lots and lots of time in the mid 4k bracket... and I read that past account history is included in your medal.
However, I just had a game vs a bunch of Legend 3's. We had a Legend 1, Legend 5, Ancient 3 (me), Ancient 1, Ancient 0. It was a high skill game. Wtf?
Do you guys think I will get a lower rank if I party queue? Someone in my match asked me if I was high party MMR and yes, I was 4586 party.
It sounds like your medal is much higher than your MMR would imply. Ancient 3 should be playing only VHS games if you're solo queuing. Are you often the highest ranked player by 1-2 brackets when you solo queue?
Last game I had an Ancient 1 bristle on my team, and everyone else was Legend. The enemy team was pure Legends.
Yeah, I usually have 2 - 3 ranks on everyone else.

About time. I didn't belong in Legend. I played mediocre as storm and then bam, I go up in rank. Still 3885 mmr lol
