it is a very good source of pure damage if the targets get hit (say you get a ravage setup or some shit) and combined with a meteor it just does so much fucking damage
if you do not think it is going to be useful you can still just go for alacrity and it is probably way more consistently and measurably good I think
like whenever i cast it, it hits no one
or only half of em hit, and those half are shared among only 3 or so people
it feels useful in the beginning of a fight to give vision, but otherwise, from what ive experienced, meh

im not an invoker player, but it seems like the ss can miss even if they are stunned
ye since it says the sunstrikes r cast in an aoe around them, every sunstrike can miss
it gives vision cuz of the precast of all the sunstrikes, u can immediately know where everyone is
i meant specifically that you could use it to spot the enemy team smoke/rosh etc, the question mark wsaa me being stupid

It has higher cooldown and gives less aoe vision, also stays for a bit so you can scout the surrounding and to llok at items instead of just getting a glimpse on the minimap
Only if you have some combined shit like told before ravage/rp, maybe in low mmr it does some chaos so you use this moment. In else moments it is useless.
ok in my last game there were a couple times where i almost instakilled someone with cataclysm, but it was so rare

i still like it cuz it scouts out the teamfight nice

tbh i find it underwhelming, all it seems to do is give minor vision
