fuck no because the agility ms bonus is percentage based, you want to stack MORE movement speed, not LESS

that being said if you are 6+ slotted and have a bunch of items you can keep boots in the backpack sometimes but you want to have boots for the majority of the game

one of the reasons jugg built diffusal is to abuse his ability to run at you with phase + manta + diffusal since you're slow as shit and he's really fast

selling boots early because technically you're faster than most heroes is stupid

why not push your advantage further?

if you want an example of how the agility movespeed buff works, buy travels on tb and enjoy 500 movespeed

I skip getting boots on Weaver sometimes

To add to League player, I sometimes swap out the boots of weaver for an Octarine Core if I go radiance build+700 shukuchi ms talent and 6 slotted.
Permanent shukuchi is pretty nice.

But that's different than the regular agi carries.

You definitely can sometimes be bootless, it depends on the game and your hero. But has nothing to do with the agility movespeed bonus.

boots are not only good for the movespeed but for the stats too. phase boots gives 24 damage for only 1240 gold, on top of all the other things, and treads gives 10 stat of your choice and 25 attack speed for only 1350 gold.

yea agi carries can be bootless 6 slotted but no reason not to buy boots the entire game

I don't think anyone was talking about not buying boots at all. If that's what OP was referring to, then no. Boots are a necessity early on.

Boots are a must except for weaver.
Later u can replace if you playing am, razor, void

Of course you'd get boots in the early game. Especially for ez stats, tread switching, and phase boost. Just figured late game, you can happily but them in your backpack for a big 6th item. Guess it depends on the lockdown your team can provide, and how well the opponents are at kiting. :S

i mean it's situational but yes if you are six slotted and the games still going on you may backpack travels and pickup a sixth lategame item, but this was true even before 7.07 now you just sacrifice less if you're and agi carry.
