Lane. I get triggered when people say "offline" instead of "offlane" because it has a different meaning.
a more "live" example would be a highway. you are going in a certain lane, and the lane is marked by lines.
lane/line in dota doesnt quite disturb any1, but what sam said is indeed fucking retarded and annoying
