Spell block is like the most op mechanic in the game, it allows you to make mistakes, I would buy it if there is any single target disable on enemy team, it's retardly good against Sven, wk, lion, it denied any outplay potential, assuming you are fast enough to click bkb or blink after linken's canceled.
I agree with @dota_in_2017
Choosing Linkens would be silly against BS as he just casts blood-rage on you to knock the Linkens off then instantly rupture..
Personally I am BKB fan because as soon as the enemy has more than one stun or disable you are stuffed (i.e. against Lion, SS etc. with multiple hex/stun Linkens is a waste).
super good against bara i believe
also still good against bs despite what people above me say
Blood rage has pathetic cast range, both blood rage and rupture has long cast time, linken's is almost perfect against him, wtf are you guys talking about?
@OP
What hero am I playing in this situation?
Who's leading the game?
I would never get Linkens/BKB on Abaddon, for example. No matter the draft. Because it would be a sign of severe brain damage.
Same for Wraith King, like, you may get BKB in niche situations, though you'd be hesitant, but buying Linken's on WK is a a no-no.
I see no point in buying Linkens against Spirit Breaker, if your team leads something like 30-9, instead someone would need to buy Deso/Vlads to push towers faster.
Like... It's too situational, no?
Why would you buy Linken's against any of those, if you're finishing the game at 20-23 mins or if your hero could use some more valueable slots than that?
Lion sucks your mana lol 4sec cd huge range 10 mana cost. But i guess linken might save u if you play some blink hero and run super fast
Linkens is only good against Lion if you already have a BKB. He can just pop linkens with mana drain then hex/ stun you. If you have a bkb though you can activate it the moment linkens gets popped to render lion useless.
