You're justifying yourself using warped logic and not looking at all the details. Might as well say; I don't understand why Sven isn't as good of a support as VS. His level 1 stun is longer. He can buff his allies at level 2 with warcry. You get way more hits on an enemy as compared to if you had a vs and dive towers too with added armor.
Etc etc.
Pay attention and be open minded instead of trying to support your own idea unreasonably. Pudge has snowballing potential and can solo kill people far more often than a Doom can. Pudge has flexibility in that he can save allies with hook. A rot slow is usually key to the ganks, not just the hook and not just the damage. Etc etc, minute differences end up being very impactful throughout many scenarios.
I had several games with a jungle midas doom. lost all of them.
people afk farm and never gank with him because "NEED HI GPM 2 GET WERRI HAI SKEEL"

8. Thinks:"Pls no I just want to farm more..."
-Tank with 0 armor and one of the lowest agility in the game
-2 and a half minute cooldown ultimate that's only a single target disable that doesn't slow, stun, root, or deal much damage
-60% of players max out devour first to afk farm, and most players buy midas on top of that
-Similar to heroes like Jakiro and Underlord, Doom is pretty underwhelming by himself and needs the help of their teammates to fully utilize all his abilities
-Requires good knowledge of neutral abilities, most people just eat the alpha wolf and only use that ability, even during the early game
His winrate is mostly terrible because most people don't know how to play him and think he's just Alch with a silence/mute.
i dont know why valve insist on giving him 0 armor but its the reason he sucks.
ok only in a duel safe lane as a carry if you have another core in the jungle
Pick doom and farm Midas radiance is faster than antimage. Buy with shadowblade and deso one shot support and doom dirty CK pockets with shivas no one can run. Buy drum to chase

Roaming 4 is the new meta. Most people are picking pudge. While pudge is great cuz he can roam if ganks fail he is underlvled and I seen pudges who are not even lvl 6 at 15 or 18 mins. Now lets compare it to a roaming doom. The hero gets an extremely fast lvl 2. Usually he has the golem stun which is 125 magic damage and a disable. The lvl 1 SE is about the same damage as rot. Basically, you can stun and run people down under towers no problem.
Now lets talk about scaling. Doom gets 80 gold per devour he can get 700 or 800 gpm toward the end of the game without taking any lane creeps or using up a safe lane position slot.
Really don't understand how roaming pudge's win rate is that much more than a doom's.
