this hero doesnt need so much advice to begin with
back then when im starting ranked i always pick omni(1.5k)
u just need early soul ring and lv 6 fast u are beast!
then suddenly enemy pick riki and diffusal to counter me
after that im suddenly love riki <3
op hero just buy greaves andthen literally anything and press buttons and u will autowin the game. the only way to fuck this hero up is to die first or use ult on just urself, he plays himself
i play him offlane core but people wont punish shitty 5 omni in normal skill and he used to be pretty good as a 4 in dual offlane imo
Greaves and pipe are the way to go. The rest is up to the game. NEVER prioritize the slow. NEVER. Heal and repel max before anything. Sometimes I skip the slow untill i max everything. Aghs is not so good, there are better itens. Not a ranked player, nor a good player :P just trying to help.
Omniknight is very weak this patch. Repel cd nerf, Purification damage/cast range nerf, Guardian Angel AOE nerf. Degen aura slightly improve though.
Omniknight is strong with the right pairing:
Tuskar with his snowball
PA with her blink
Huskar with his Life Break
Slark with his pounce
I suggest learn to play Dassle. That hero is more versatile than Omni most of the game.
need early clarity - he is not a good safelane support against dual lane offlane mostly the problem is he is mele and cant harres to much unless you have boots and orb of venom early which is basicaly a roaming item - he is a better offlane support or roamer in my opinion - or even offlaner
I really prefer him as a core
If you can manage, midas into radiance is amazing, but usually you won't, utility items that allows you to get in front and sustain your teams are highly advisable
Items like solar crest, force stuff, greaves, urn, pipe, glimmer, depends on the situations items that allow you to Frontline and sustain
In ideal circumstances where you get farm in offlane and the team doesn't need your help early and you get kills when you involve, midas - radiance - greaves - octarine - refresher - aghs is generally ideal, maybe a solar crest between them. But again, you would rarely get a chance building those and I highly advise against pushing towards those in uncoordinated game, if you can't get your radiance-midas by let's say 25 minutes, just don't
omni used to be a support back when you could non stop repel a huskar/drow and just win the game by being gay, but not anymore.
