How do you check if you belong to 3k?

Open your main acc and look at the mmr.

If mmr >= 3000 then you belong to 3k, else you dont

short answer : NO

Long answer : don't smurf , don't try to fool the system . because every heroes have his own criteria to show your rank . for example you pick alchemist which mean your gpm will be high but as long as it is as high as real pro alchemist your rank will not increase because you are actually not good.

lets say you reached 3k then..... since you are not a 3 or whatever k, you will drop to your level

only smurf if you COULD climb mmr but you are so low that games become very unenjoyable.

i calibrated instantly on my first account, at 900 mmr. climbed to 1.3 but games became miserable, i didnt enjoy playing.

solo support tiny, 4k gold spent on sentries and wards, best stats in the game, safe lane sven has 2.5k gold more then me after 40 minutes. i mean how can games like this be enjoyable.

meanwhile on this smurf i only rarely get dumb people (mostly smurfs haha) and games are very enjoyable, mmr doesnt matter to me but i want to have fun playing dota.

when you play ranked consistently and cant climb, making a smurf wont help you

honestly, i understand why people are allergic to smurfs.
