I was 16 I think and now I'm 21

19-24 in dota 1, took a break for about 3 years but still loosely followed via shoutcasts until 27 when I bought a new gaming laptop that could run Dota 2, now 31.

I think I was 15 when I first started. 24 years old now.

I did take a few several-months or even year long breaks in between though.

Lucky. I discovered Dota in 2013 (when they did the key thing), did not play until 2014.

I have friends in their late 20's that played when Dota 1 when they were in highschool.
