Majority of pro player in hearthstone says that zoo is one of the hardest. Well at least it used to before standard comes out. You havent even touch the actual hearthstone tryhard ppl. Used to have so much option in 1 turn. Easy to learn and hard to master i must say. Patron used to be a op deck with mediocre to hard difficulty.
Have you seen the used to be patron otk fucking op warrior? Fronting berserker patron and the charge guy to enrage the one damage to all unit and to like that until your berserker got like 20 attack. It is said that with 0 minion on board
Now it just seems harder to climb up in rank and shit because rich ppl will just buy all adventure. Rn i really like my jade druid. Fucking no fatugue man
Think of ranked heartstone as dota 2 ranked. You have to be good with a good deck and skills. If not you'll lose every ranked game. Ranked can be annoying but heartstrings is pretty fun. I need to start playing it again.
Priest is rlly good rn i dunno wtf ur talking abt. Also jade druid kinda sux donkey cock against pirate warrior. Rn im playing a control jade shaman, and although it isnt gr8 against pirate warrior i teched in elemental d and healing wave and doing much better. However sometimes u get insanely cheesed by some dumbshit rng, like operative stealing white eyes then stealing the 5 mana 10/10 that comes out of it. Makes u just wanna rip ur own eyes out.
The only decks I liked was the Blue Eyes White Dragon original stuff LUL. I also took a liking into building the Judgment Dragon deck because some guy won a UGO tournament at our high school with that deck.
My friends built other random decks, but there was a guy I played against that had Stardust Dragon where he could use it to negate a card spell I did and I found myself dumbfounded by how the game had changed so much. This was around 2010 or 2011 I think. My younger brother and I collected quite a bit of cards till like 2013/14 when they had the motorcycle duelists.
I'm just happy to have got some nice cards over the time I bought a bit more cards. Especially my ghost rare blue eyes and some Dark Magician girl cards rofl
i played a bit, but its pay to win, like a starter like me that just want free shit, will have to grind thousands of hours just to build a decent competitive deck.
And its not pay to win its pay to have fun. U can win with decks that require almost no cards. But to unpack all those cool ass legendaries and shit u gotta pay more. Or hella grind like me. Now that they made tavern brawl tho it does make it so that u can still often times experience those cards in that format without paying.
That doesnt guarentee wins u dumbass. U cud unpack crapshit cards, and there r plenty of decks with little crafting cost. It has gotten worse tho, it used to be better.
Well daddy how much have you unlock the advanture. I would completely agree to remove advanture and make it 1 big new advanture with the same cost and it grant all the wing1 card or shit like that. I have a op burn yugioh deck that beats my friends malafice deck.
It removes the need to grind you retarded fuck, this practice is called pay-to-win, just like Online FPS games like Combat Arms and Crossfire, where you can buy a weapon that needs 4 months of griding for a new free player, pay to win doesnt mean that you will win 100% of the time, it means that the possibility of you winning agaisnt a player that has spent the same time on the games as you is bigger,(instead of being 50/50, its is more like 70/30 in your favor).
Buying a AWP on C.A. doesnt give you a guaranted win, but it gives you a advantage, if all the new players have the standart shit sniper rifle. So if you buy 50 packs, you clearly has a advantage, and if you have 50 packs of shit cards, the free player will open around 5 packs of shitty cards to, more cards = more options = a bigger advantage.
It's a good game. The only reason I stopped is because my favorite decks had vital cards that were rotated out. I have hit rank 8 with freeze mage and the more midrange-y shaman (the old midrange shaman, the one with brann and mistcaller). Those decks won't really go far nowadays.
Thing is you can buy a crap ton of packs only still have shitty cards. And just cuz u have those cards doesnt increase ur winrate. And there r plenty of high rarity cards that suck dick. What the extra cards grant you is a better experience cuz u have more cards to experiment with, but those cards dont have to increase ur winrate.
It sucked real bad, but now the deck sucks much more. Try it now and you'll only win 2 out of 10 games. I tried. The midrange shaman now is even nearing aggro cancer, iirc.
more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage more cards = more options = bigger advantage
you can get everything for free tho. its just impatient fucks that say its pay to win. its so fucking easy to get gold playing arena like what the actual fuck, unless you only have 2 synapses working in your brain. buying packs with your real money just = more spins of the wheel, and a skip to some grind.
They need to make it better for f2p players not because u cant do it, but with all these cancer patches pirate decks everywhere it honestly isnt fun to grind.
how so, if you can do A B C D E F G H and one guy can only do A B D, just like any card game, if you have more cards you can build more decks, you can have more strategies.
Pay To Win AKA P2W. when you are paying for advantage which normal players don't have access to unless they either pay too or will have to grind very long (weeks and months)/ Games that let you buy better gear or allow you to make better items then everyone else at a faster rate
And saying that opening 50 packs and you will only get shit cards is retarded, if that happens the new player will only get shit cards to.
The point is that if A B C D E F G H (all random) have no synergy, ir r different class cards, or r repeats, etc. then u dont necessarily have as many options as A B C D. Plus u have to factor in adventures which give everyone the same cards.
U ignore the WIN part of PAY TO WIN. If these cards dont work together it doesnt matter. If u have more options of making half a druid deck and half a warrior deck its the same as ur f2p player who can only make half a druid deck.
The game is def pay to win. Not even a question since you can't make a top deck at the start. (and thus playing is the only way to start off with a decent deck)
After April though it's not really a big deal since most of the old cards the new players don't have will be phased out anyways.
Its not pay to WIN but it is pay to have fun. It is getting closer to pay to win but not rlly. U cant just fork over 500 dollars and get urself a pirate warrior deck.
^pirate warrior is like the cheapest deck in the game. You only need Patches and 0 epics
If someone really wanted to they could just buy LoE dismantle everything, but Finley or whatever and craft whatever they need from dust. Bam $20 for the second best deck in the game. It's def a bit pay to win
honestly game right now with MSOG is pay to win becuase High value legendaries are really important to their deck that if u have them ur winrate gonna increase A LOT. and there are legendraies that u actually cant make that certain deck without them.
but back in the days non advanture legendarys werent that important and most of popular aggro decks didnt run any legendary but right now, the fucking Patches and Aya are really must have cards.
well it takes 30 days of playing for 2 hours (on avarge) to be able to craft a legendray. until then u have to play the same bullshit everyday. thats why i only play once every 3 day to complete daily quests and do the tavren brawls.
and another problem is 2 or 3 months later there gonna a shit load of new cards that u have to get. Thats why the game is pay to win
I see ur point abt patches/aya and thats what i mean by getting closer to pay to win. But imo it hasnt reached there yet. I have complete contructed jade control shaman and i havent spent a penny on this game.
Dude it's blizzard, that should tell you what kind of game it is.
Let me elaborate. Anyone who's ever played wow know's that blizz tries to keep you playing their games non stop by giving you all this shit to grind for. You finally get all of your t12 set or whatever it is and oh look here's a patch with t13 sets! Otherwise why would anyone keep raiding the same fucking scripted dungeon 3 times a week, 4-5 hours at a time? With wow they found the perfect balance of carrot on a stick to keep everyone running on the treadmill. Give the player just enough gear to have fun and feel cool, but withhold or add just enough to keep them playing. Pvp in wow was literally the extreme worst of this example too, grind this fake currency non stop to get gear. Though this changed with legion or warlords idk which cus I don't play anymore.
Heroes of the storm is the same. You have to grind or pay to unlock more heroes. Maybe those heroes don't actually help you win more, idk I haven't played it, but more heroes is more fun right? So you pay for it or grind your ass off.
Hearthstone is no different. I played it for about two weeks, then went on blizzard forums and bitched about the decks and got shot down by a bunch of fanbois saying that pros can win with starter decks vs anything cus it's all skill. Yeah right. Hearthstone is grind, grind, grind just like wow pvp was back in the day. You play months before you get anything cool enough to have fun with. And you will lose. Like lose A LOT. Unless you pay and buy tons of card packs.
That's really in my opinion what's made dota2 so unique. Even league you grind some stuff. Dota2 you don't grind anything, don't buy anything. It's amazing that way. Imagine if in dota2 you could only access the heroes from the limited heroes mode unless you paid money or grinding a bunch of xp. You have to grind to play ranked, ok that's true, but the unranked game experience is almost identical game except for your competition. Or imagine if dota2 you couldn't buy like a bkb without paying or grinding some stupid achievement. It would be ridiculous. Well that's basically every blizzard game ever minus the old school single player ones like starcraft, diablo, warcraft.
Protip: don't play the game and don't support the shitty company that blizzard is. I am too deep to simply bail. But I will never spend a cent to support blizzard ever again. You wouldn't believe the shit hearthstone players are going through.
"Protip: don't play the game and don't support the shitty company that blizzard is. I am too deep to simply bail. But I will never spend a cent to support blizzard ever again. You wouldn't believe the shit hearthstone players are going through."
Can you elaborate on the shit you are going through?
And isn't that basically what I said? Blizzard makes everything a grind to addict you and extract money. They're like the drug pushers of video games.
And what does being 3k in dota have to do with anything related to another game?
Ok so the first one thing would be that I have to go to closed qualifiers to hearthstone world champ. Guess what. It's in 7 days. Guess what. There's no venue in my country or nearby countries. Guess what. I even found a potentially feasible way to travel to Norway which has literally 0 players qualified and didn't have a single even this year. Guess what. They don't respond on their facebook event and the person responsible doesn't respond either. Guess what. I have absolutely no info or confirmation from blizzard and I have been trying to contact them for 2 weeks already only to be sent around support branches going so deep into the rabbit hole that they stopped responding. How do dota and hearthstone require similar skill? They aren't even remotely similar. One is a turn based card game, another is a 3rd person isometric real time game.
And 3k is not very bad at dota lol fucking elitist douche bag. 3k is easily top half of all dota players, 3500 is like top 4th. It's all relative. It'd be like me coming out and saying anyone who makes $50k a year is terrible at their career cus that's not much money at all even though it's like the median household income in the US.
Go play Shadowverse, it's basically weebstone, and very polished with a rapidly growing player base.
Shadowverse = has fans cuz it has boobs. So. Many. Tits.
People who sucked at patron really brought down its winrate. Zoo used to be harder i agree but it was more abt being effecient with buffs and shit.
Renolock is the hardest deck rn.
Have you seen the used to be patron otk fucking op warrior? Fronting berserker patron and the charge guy to enrage the one damage to all unit and to like that until your berserker got like 20 attack. It is said that with 0 minion on board

Ive played completely f2p buddy. No regrets. Fuck the system.
And its not pay to win its pay to have fun. U can win with decks that require almost no cards. But to unpack all those cool ass legendaries and shit u gotta pay more. Or hella grind like me. Now that they made tavern brawl tho it does make it so that u can still often times experience those cards in that format without paying.
its pay to win, because you pay to take out the need to grind like others, like many online games out there.
That doesnt guarentee wins u dumbass. U cud unpack crapshit cards, and there r plenty of decks with little crafting cost. It has gotten worse tho, it used to be better.

And the state of game is fucking dogshit and it gets progressively worse
How do dota and hearthstone require similar skill? They aren't even remotely similar. One is a turn based card game, another is a 3rd person isometric real time game.
And 3k is not very bad at dota lol fucking elitist douche bag. 3k is easily top half of all dota players, 3500 is like top 4th. It's all relative. It'd be like me coming out and saying anyone who makes $50k a year is terrible at their career cus that's not much money at all even though it's like the median household income in the US.
>buying into being average is good enough

Both require thinking and analytical skills to perform decisions and to improve your game.
