By the time you think "should I buy AC or butterfly" you'd probably lose the game anyway since huskar should close the game out in 30 minutes or less
here's a good idea, don't pick huskar into slark or lifestealer or basically anybody who can dish out insane physical damage
Obviously u dont pick into it. U get counterpicked. Maybe u were going for a dazzle/oracle + huskar strat. Or picked drow and wanted a huskar mid to counter say their zeus.
Also at least in shitfuck tier dota huskar isnt that bad late game. One can argue that similar to void/sb magic dmg bash that since u deal so much magic dmg it deals with high armor heroes better in the late game (especially in ns where pipe isnt an item).

why would you go fucking halberd on huskar, this is not 2006, you either go solar crest or don't go evasion at all
always go AC as a big armor item, butterfly is a retarded idea that doesn't compensate for his weaknesses
anyway by the time you are thinking about butterfly your opponents will always have their blood thorns and silver edges, so unless you get it in the first 20 minutes or something, it's shit, but at the same time you are never going to get it that early because you need a ton of shit before that

Also why not halberd. Evasion against physical dmg, some hp, and the active prevents more physical dmg. It is more situational with pike and shit but it isnt a bad item imo. Can u explain to the ns scrub
true strike fully negates miss chance from solar crest but huskar can have both miss chance on the target and evasion on himself if he first uses solar crest, THEN PURGES THE DEBUFF, so it is extra valuable on him!
huskar needs armor, always get armor on huskar, unless you're against a zeus leshrac pugna lineup or some stupid retarded shit like that
halberd is bad because sange is a shit, basically, it's too expansive for what it does and how it can be purged by anything

So with the talents do you go for the lifesteal one, or buy morbid mask and hold to upgrade to satanic? Or both?
I used to go armlet > helm > dlance > pike > halberd > ac/skadi/bkb(only against shit like smoke screen)/linkens(duel) > mkb(wr and pa) > satanic

Now, as u say, huskar doesnt need -5 armor aura.. so, AC (for self, and not for team) is only better in armor...
i think butter is better.. BUT, with dominator rework... unless u build vlads, u may need de AC
I feel like with the new range talent and dlance huskar no longer gets kited. Before a force and a glimmer, or something and u get rlly kited.
Tiny won't buy butterfly any more now that attack speed fully affects illusions. He will go moonshard or AC. Before he went manta and butter for the agility to make them attack faster cus the illusions get bonuses from his ult dmg and aghs.
I feel like butterfly is still good cuz flutter is rlly good for tiny, and evasion is rlly nice for the hero over armor

I was thinking against heroes like slark and lifestealer, who can both buy MKB and deal a lot of physical dmg and hate evasion, would a Heaven's Halberd be better than ac against them?
