First, mark mid. If another guy highlights mid and/or picks a mid hero immediately, go random. You go random because you can definitely play other roles but you aren't feeling it, so while the draft is free you can random for 200 extra gold, or 100 if you aren't feeling the first hero you get.
After which you play as if you were intending to pick your randomed hero all this time, while enjoying the extra gold bonus. Fucking EZ
