i think u still get echo no matter wat, just before or after finishing ur silvers edge, which would depend on the enemy
Get both echo sabre and silver edge every game. Moon shard is OK if you are ahead but generally you need other stuff more.
Silver edge can be disassembled, this is why you can build it almost every game. Recipe is only 300 gold. Not every game, but the huge majority.
I haven't had a game where echo sabre wasn't good.
Sometimes echo sabre rush is required after treads.
Moonshard is good but you don't get survivability from it, know when to get it. Slark is squishy and you can easily throw your lead by getting cocky and buying a moonshard and lose fights due to that. It's not an item I'd say is core, but very good on him.
Go hyperstone to moonshard over sb and echo? You serious? All jokes aside, 1st build is way better.

i know 2nd option is more expensive but that just means it comes a lil bit slower
