he's very strong 1v1 against the majority of heroes, mostly played midlane
meepo, voker and alche are very good laners against him. he can rape the rest of the midlane heroes.
he's bad against anything with a lot units(but you can get 1-2 mjolnir for that) or something with lots of mobility/invisibility because he's squishy, like riki/slark so you get sb/dagger/huricane to position.
always get midas
I did alright, played some bit matches and have it a try in a pub. I did alright, didn't farm very well with him, but I'll work on it. He gets a huge spike in power as soon as he hits 6 so I can see how many who have good micro skills can snowball
most pros go Midas-mojlner-blink-silver edge(situational)-bloodthorn-bkb?-butterfly/skadi.
baumi once play him as stats carry (dragon lance-manta-diffusal-butter-skadi-daedalous) and he did well with it.
get get counterd by strong gap closers with high burst damage like sven(mid-late but not very good after 45 min or so),timbersaw(will need some sort of purge later),slark,life stealer,riki (roamer),slarder(arc have naturally very low armor and he dont tend to go AC or shiva at least in the first 30 min).

Arc is one of those heroes that I pushed to the side for some time, but would like to learn now. What is he good against, what counters him, skill builds or item builds? And general tips. I plan on doing bot matches first to get a good feel but looking for tips still
