I'm not that good of a TA user but based from the pick. You can't really win mid with gyro head on. You could possibly win if you could outplay him with your meld and burst him down after he use his rocket barrage. Also, you could win if your support could zone him out and help you on the lane there's also the choice of support ganks in mid to give you a hand so that you could get ahead in terms of xp and farm. Other than that I couldn't see anything to win on that lane by just yourself
Starting mid wif TA just use psi denied creep and farming
Use ur skill 2 to take advantage to kill gyro in level5
Remember buy some healing cause once vs gyro,huskar in mid will make ur hp mist critical
Best mid vs puvk,invoker,sniper for me using TA
Oh, no because I turned off displaying my mmr. Because I'm pretty sure dotabuff gets your mmr if you publicly display it. If you stop then dotabuff no longers gets updated for your current mmr. I lost 14 mmr from that game.
2.5k MMR difference is certainly an excuse for losing the lane. On top of that he counter picked you.
why is it a counter pick tho? if he doesnt have sentry mid cant u just meld andw ait for rockets to end or some shit
ta should beat gyro quite badly. psi blades, shove in the wave constantly so that he cant barrage u. his right click sux and his flak doesnt do aynthing to u with refraction, missile does nothnig to u. u can dodge barrage with meld if its rlly needed i imagine.
as the lane draws out u should just psi blade him down.
Considering he was 7, or 6.8k at least it he'll definitely buy sentries and dust. But generally I don't think most lower mmr players will let alone gyro mid.
I dont think you can beat that gyro with TA. No matter how i look at it he is fcking 7k solo. Also he max Rocket barrage that can easily remove your refraction. TA 1st skill is completely useless with that many tiny rocket. Only the damage left and with good ulti timing you cant run.
Just depend you control TA in mid

so today i got matched with a 7k player, he was 5.7k party so thats how, im 4.5k and obviously there is a 2.5k mmr difference, but thats no excuse for losing the lane I had no idea how to lane against him, I tried to psi blade, but I thought to hug the creeps when he used rocket barrage, but he just used flak cannon to clear. Anyone have an idea on how to play tihs matchup? Obviously I got too cocky so thats probably why i died to him.
