Yes it does. But I believe that the active's crit is much higher than the passive so it wont activate. Just like auras, the strongest crit percentage override the other if ever both should activate.

So don't worry,it works a way better while active.

Your passive crit will override the active crit when it procs because the passive is higher. The crits of any other hero will also proc if they are attacking the bloodthorned target and if their crit is larger then the active crit it will also override the active crit. If their crit is lower then the active crit, the active will override it.

The rule for all crits is if two happen at the same time, the larger one is used and the smaller one is lost. That's why people don't get ddaedalus on Jugg, WK and PA. Its less effective because sometimes you'll lose that Daedalus crit if it happens at the same time as your passive crit.
