Actually alc is a fking soft hero at the early game ... try to end game asap and don't let him even get the chance to take bounty rune
Alch pickers make the game easier. If you're losing or feel like it's a tie while the alch is farming and 4 v 5, you lose.
He is a super soft hero though. AA counters him very well with his ult, another great hero is Enchant. Her ult fucks him early game and can shut him down very fast.

Lifestealer fucks up a lot of heroes honestly.
Early game : gank mid and block his camps
Late game : Naix
General tactic : Massive DPS heroes like naix as mentioned and burst damages.
Alch = Sustain hero with loads of regen
Counter? Slark, just keep attacking him and leech his stats.. after he´s dead you got +60 agi and roll over the rest of his team, ggwp!
In early game. Try to prevent alchemist to get last hits... any stunner hero is effective enough to stop the farming scene...
Some yellow wards placed on enemy safelane is good enough to prevent alchemist jungling as his skill is granting more gold from last hits than anyone.
Why isn't aa just picked every game, I mean honestly all these armlet strength heroes with blade mail are running rampant
