pretty much the same, however vanguard is probably just as good as urn if not better, especially in terms of cost and laning.
Yeah, she is a one sexy apparition xD
With urn you have much higher kill possibility instead of vanguard..
move on. the key to spamming meta heroes is to spam meta heroes, not previous patch meta heroes...
Vanguard and blademail for sure into eventual abyssal blade. Idk about the rest but with blademail happening before resistance they will take more damage from hitting you than you do.
I lost 2 mmr games in a row due to spec killed me in 2 secs , thats insane.
I will spam her, cuz she didnt nerfed,
On some of my spectre's game I don't build vanguard as a mandatory. Maybe I build it once or twice ? I don't know but I try to build sabre after urns to spectre since 6.87 realeased and she's more badass
I've been hearing echo sabre is awesome on her but I don't really get why... I guess cus you ult into a fight and bam two deso hits?
phase->urn->echo->other items
Wolf the reason is that it makes you a bit more tanky early like urn/drums, and since spec has generally bad att speed the double tap and slow provides decent kill/chase early on if you haunt in. old drums were probably better, but they are worse now i think.
Unapologetic spectre spammer/smurfer here. Flame me all you want.
Vanguard is, in my experience with this account's recent VHS games, still way too slow and not worth it. Back when the patch first came out i tested Phase Boots - Wand - VG - Echo Sabre(superior stat item atm) - Manta - Abyssal with great success (around 15 kills in 3 games back to back), but that was in my old account that only had HS games.
With the proliferation of early game value items in the form of cheap TP scrolls, wards, Wind Lace, Blight Stone, etc, the patch feels a LOT more fighting/pressure based. You guys won't disagree with me on this.
Against a properly played offlane, getting a 10mnt VG boots wand is really tough chore- one that leaves you with little to no offensive power and mana regen to snowball into your damage items.
"But VG + levels in dispersion = unkillable!" well, back to my point- sacrificing early game levels into dispersion just isn't the way to go in this patch.
So what's the build to go this patch?
Tbh, just swap out Drums for Echo Sabre. Radiance is becoming increasingly situational as well (as it's always been- just more so now.)
Magic Wand, PMS, and even a midgame Raindrop purchase I feel helps a ton.
Blademail i admit is an interesting fighting item. Needs testing in place of Drums.

How do we build him now? Is vanguard now a core, to transition into abyssal later on.
