i believe this means that cooldowns are fixed on clone and they dont reset when you get a new one, like the cooldown keeps going when clone is dead

the cooldown persist doesnt affect this at all but diffu has 2s cd now
It is a nerf to this bullshit rapier + bkb build where you could just melt towers with 100% evasion & magic resistance
you dont even get to towers most of the time so it wasn't THAT good
also with poor stat gain, mkb carriers would just melt you instantly

No. It simply means, if the main hero has the item on cooldown, the clone will do so too. So you can't just use it for free midas every time. And you will have to manage your cooldowns better as well. If you don't use the items on the main hero though, it doesn't change anything.
I think that means if you want double necrobook, your main guy better have necrobook off cooldown. Same with midas. Can't spam your illusion out to a different lane and necrobook there anymore.
No, by the wording of it it more likely means what arin said, clone has his won separate cooldowns.

Like, Magnetic Field is fucking dogshit, the whole point of it was that you could save your teammates or yourself from mostly melee attackers and now this doesn't work. Same with farming jungle, most strong creeps are melee and they don't give a fuck now. I think it;s the same with towers,you can no longer use it as a glyph.
This + Flux being purgable and BKB-dispellable renders you completely helpless against melee carries, you're like Drow.
Then this ulti which heavily nerfs midas and necro which are the main reasons hero is good in the first place. Like, does Icefag actually realise Arc Warden is one of the worst natural farmers in the game?
Plus there probably will be Slark in every game with those Silver and SnY changes and now that W doesn't do anything against him, you are his food.

From minor tests with arc warden in current test build
The clone has seperate cooldowns, if primary has cooldown it does not effect clone, the clone remembers cooldowns and ticks down as if it were still alive. so if you were to not use the ability for a minute or so the cooldown on a midas will decrease accordingly, other small note, multiple clones is no longer possible with refresher, as the game seems to have the ability to track 1 clone only, and attempting to make a clone from a clone crashes the game
so management of cooldowns isnt as harsh of a punish when you midas early, still, annoying nerf for arc warden.
Arc is fucking dumpstered. Look at the trends and see how this hero which was already shit got destroyed almost as hard as od.

Aghanims scepter for Arc Warden 2: Tempest double is summoned with all items and abilities on cooldown.
