What DPI settings do you play at? And do you in General Discussion

What DPI settings do you play at, and do you turn on mouse acceleration (pointer precision) on windows or/and your gaming software settings?
And what do you currently have the Dota 2 camera speed setting set at? I'm kinda new to gaming mice, and I know it's doesn't really matter as much for MOBA's as it does for CSGO, and FPS like that, but I just want to know.

    Dan

play on like 4000 DPI and have my camera pan speed fully custom with no mouse acceleration and a custom x and y advanced sensitivity.

TELL YOUR GIRL TO WASH HE...

Not exactly using a gaming mouse, but i have mouse acceleration on at all times except when playing fps

Wow, custom X and Y sensitivity huh, well I guess it doesn't matter so much on MOBAS.

I'm at 1600 DPI, and camera speed at 5000, default cursor speed (6) no mouse acceleration, still fiddling with options. But the general consensus says turn off mouse acceleration.

            2880 dpi with acceleration on

I don't know why people say acceleration messes with your accuracy, sure if you've never used it before then maybe its weird but almost anyone and everyone has

            Livin' Real Good

Well it does mess with your accuracy, it adds in extra variables to the way in which the cursor moves that don't need to be added in. Turning off mouse acceleration (enhance pointer precision) makes it so it's more of a raw input, a more natural input. When turning on acceleration the mouse cursor distance traveled will always be different depending on how fast you moved you hand for that specific motion, thus resulting in inconsistent results. Sorry, i'm not the most articulate when it comes to explanations of things.

my mouse has 400 dpi, pretty good shit there, i got the camera speed 70-80% since i am a rts player, but mostly i click on the map to change the camera to a far location, and no help from windons nor any other program with mouse acceleration.

but i'm not saying you can't use mouse acceleration Nami, it's probably not bad for Dota, but for FPS, it kinda is.

I use the Scroll Wheel to move the camera. Seems like everyone else pushes the cursor to the edge.

I do that sometimes, but mostly, I like the control of clicking the middle mouse.

                    1600 DPI.
