Just make sure you adapt your build every game. Deso clinkz is good, but you should ask yourself if it's good every game.
Both are generally mid game items, and if you get both, you'll delay your transition into the late game which is something you don't really want to do.
Deso -> Push towers and kill heroes
Orchid/any other build -> only kill heroes
You wanna be able to do everything by yourself in a pub game. Deso almost always the better choice.
Does the enemy team has many casters, or someone with a valuable spell which can lead to his escape? Orchid.
Does the team has many tank heroes, with high HP and/or armor? Desolator.
As Pilot said, if you get both of them, your late game presence will be delayed.
There is no cookie cutter build that fits all situations. Make 2, 3 builds of your own and alter them as the game changes.
Orchid is really bad if there's no one you need to silence yet most clinkz still rush it as core. Really good vs like qop and am and such
i used to play alot of clinkz on other accounts, and i'd say always build ring of aquilla, soul right and treads in lane, then go jungle tread switching and using soul ring until you get deso, then pick off targets until you can finaly build sheepstick, then finish the build with mkb/daedalus/assault cuirass/choice... had alot of success this way. but yes deso is a must buy. if the game gets ultra long you might wanna swap it out for skadi and ac though if tankiness gets to be a problem.

I tried playing the clinkz soul ring into deso build and never regret anything... It just a good build but still orchid is also valuable item for clinkz just wanted to know which u guys think is better deso or orchid.
