pieces of emdia are created with different purpose in mind, if a film doesn't present itself as something more than a trashy comedy to watch and laugh at with ur drunk frieds and it fulfilled its purpose adequately there's no reason to consider it bad, not everything has to be highbrow and epiphany-inducing
you usually generalize and evaluate it as a movie, i think. something aimed at being bad by its creators doesnt become decent from this fact alone.

mcu fullfills the goals of ppl who produce these films (aka earns a lot of money), but taking aside the sureoundings i shall admit that from the point of view of movie quality they are average (or bad, in some cases).
i dont watch movies or shows so i cant rly give a convincing example in this field but for music u can look at aritsts like lil pump or future - saying their shit is primitive, uninspired and lacks subtance are all true and are valid criticisms, but neither is trying to be anything but catchy bangers so dismissing them as bad artists just on this basis is very shallow
music doesnt have to be 100% objectively bad to be considered bad
if it has major flaws that make the overwhelming majority of people(inlcuding those who generally enjoy music in the same genre) not enjoy it, it is bad, and if some fringe part of the community still sticks wth it for whatever reason, they probably just have a shit taste
there is a reason some albums/artists are widely considered classics/genius/revolutionary and some are universally rated low and are borderline unlistenable
