Just be aware that your teammates are not aware of your actions and strategies. That is probably the biggest thing you need to focus on. Everything else is the same
probably the lack of communication, so you usually have to go into this "solo" mentality that a lot of players like wagamama use when solo qeueing
Pick versatile heroes. If you decided to play support - pick something strong in lane and strong in teamfights as well. If you looking for carry - pick something that can farm even if supports leaving you alone against aggro trilane. If you want to play mid - pick something with strong disables. If you dare to solo hard lane... may the God help you to not feed.
hello, little brother xD
I have a similar situations to yours: I havent played solo queue for half a year, goping for party ranked only instead. However, as I came back to solo couple of days ago, I can say that the major trouble is to deal with constant anger of players in my team. Games are relatively easy though, cz my solo rmm is nearly 1000 points lower than party one.
I haven't had troubles similar to yours ones though, idk why.
"Games are relatively easy though, cz my solo rmm is nearly 1000 points lower than party one."
I have the opposite experience: my solo MMR is nearly 1400 points HIGHER than party one, and it's 5 times harder for me to play in party.
You can't pick heroes that fill niches like wisp. Great hero in coordinated play terrible in pubs
The key to changing from party to solo is to remove all expectations of teamwork. If it happens it's a plus, if it doesn't you need to have picked and played decent enough to have had impact.
This is one of the reasons I initially struggled and have decided to go back to party games because everyone you meet in solo queue is so on edge and ready to give up at least 5 minutes into the game, blame flies, anger happens, and the game gets lost and players carry this over game after game.
Learn to just go "meh" also pick heroes that can excel without having the full 5 but can kill people with 1-2 who are actively trying to do things. I find the best way to do this is pick offlaners like clock, nyx, phoenix, tide, undying, cent etc. and when you hit six show the enemy your balls by tp'ing to the safelane or mid and killing them with an ult, then go back to farming having a tp at the ready should your idle team need you.

Hello forum, it's my first thread here.
A year ago I calibrated my account at 3959. Starting from a week ago I begun to try solo RMM again (normally I stack with friends or randoms) but struggling to get any noticeable results even though I can say for sure I've made a ton of improvement in my game compared to last year, as I was sitting below 51% winrate this time last year. I'm also baffled by the amount of people with the same MMR as I have but don't seem to have any clue in drafting (picking bad heroes, low utility heroes or don't reroll bad randoms for example). And these people likely play ranked even more than I do (2 matches a day max). I tried to spam heroes but it doesn't seem to kick anything for me, still a coin toss, sometimes I play Abaddon and even end up shoehorned into a core role (wtf people). So what's the biggest adjustment you need to make in solo RMM when you're used to stacking?
