does this description miss something?
If buffs any damage done by the hero (items, skills, right-clicks), but not damage from controlled or immobile units unless you put bloodrage on them instead (eidolons, mines, death ward, etc.).
I'm not sure if it buffs necro's aura though since it's not one of the three main damage types (it probably doesn't).
^probably not, im not even sure it counts as HD
its not that necro deals this damage, but close enemies suffer it. this damage is received, but not dealt. i cant explain it better.
unit deals, and takes, increased damage. the deals damage part is confusing as i dont see bonus damage or any other stat bonus when i cast it to bs or any other hero. or am i wrong?
It doesn't give you "bonus damage" to the damage counter since it's a buff to all damage the hero does, not only his right-clicks.
no, its not magical afaik; it pierces thrugh bkb/rage/magic resist etc.; it increases the final damage you deal.
It doesn't have a damage-type. The bonus damage depends on the damage type of the damage source. If you use bloodrage on yourself and throw out a blood rite, it will deal bonus pure damage since the nuke is pure damage. If you right-click, it will deal bonus physical damage since your right-clicks are physical damage. If you use dagon it will do bonus magic damage since dagon is magical.
Is this skill really that hard to understand?
(Your attack - armor) + 40% ?
weird mechanic
^dunno, just wondered since the spell itself is magical.
^why is it weird? its simple as hell. it just multiplies the FINAL damage (after all the discounts) you deal. its the simpliest type of dmg buff that could exist.
How does it work if we use the skill as a debuff on somebody that got soul burned from Orchid or got a MoM buff?
bs damage multiplicator works after the rest of multiplicators, i guess. it should multiply final damage,as i already said.
Multiplies final outgoing and final incoming of all types
Exception: blademail. Outgoing not amplified (you reflect as much HP as you lose)
