Yeah drums are probably the core item that's good in the most heroes
For ARDM dagon for sure! For normal games, probably Eul, S&Y or drums.

This issue often comes up in all random death match since your hero can change at any time.
Some of the best items that can work on every hero is:
Blademail
Drums
Dagon
Skadi
BKB
Linkens
Mekanism
Blink
Forcestaff
My personal fav however is Orchid. Easy build up. Damage attack speed and mana regen. Silence and damage amp in one.
Since they removed the mana cost to use it I'd say Blink Dagger all day.
Mobility in general is so useful for virtually every hero.
Force Staff/blink or Skadi... can't pick... I always pick up skadi late game if I have money and no idea what to do with it though.
I just found out I have 100% winrate on 39 games with Aegis of Immortal, so I change my mind.
Ag Scepter. I get it for most of my favorite heroes. Venomancer? Yes. Necrophos? Yes. Clockwerk? Yes. Treant Protector? Yes. Earthshaker? Yes. I'm actually really liking it on Tinker too even though it's like the #6 thing I build for him.
I love Rod of Atos. Unfortunately I can't buy it in any game since it is trash if you want to win a game :(
