Explain everything about weaver, but usually i max shukuci and swarm lv 2, then rest for geminate and ulti
Check people's inventories in lane so you can tell when they place a sentry. That's like the only weaver counter in lane, sentry and a fuck ton of stuns.
• dont go linkens every game
• if you're solo offlane make sure you don't get denied so u get lv 2 from the first wave
• time your shukuchi with your attack projectile so when they land at the same time you get ~160 last hit damage
• when using shukuchi to last hit you don't need to immediately run into the creeps, it lasts 4 seconds that if you time it correctly you can get several last hits that can't be denied
• if you want to only last hit 1 creep with shukuchi, try not to hit other creeps if you don't want the lane to push
• for non linken games
- hood is situational but legit item
- you will almost definitely need a bkb
- drum gives nice stats for fighting early
- medallion gives alternative mana regen, but its not high enough to spam shukuchi 24/7
- go deso or crit for mid game damage.
- being good at tread switching helps immensely
• if you need mana regen and you dont have linkens, disassemble basi/aquila for medallion
• get used to tread switching
• if there is a sentry in lane then you should play super safe
• try to use shukuchi to bait out dust / sentries
if you are in vision of the enemy, and they have detection, don't run forward immediately after using shukuchi, because its obvious you're going for a last hit with it. either use shukuchi out of vision or wait to see if they use detection.
• to find out where sentries are, go invis and issue an attack command on an enemy hero while you are near enemy creeps, if creeps aggro you when invis, theres a sentry.
• if not against evasion, daedelus > mkb unless ur running a 0 stun lineup
• if going radiance u might want manta too to cut waves like a naga
I don't play weaver much but I have noticed two significantly different strategies on him. First is super aggressive using shukuchi and ult to fight a lot early. Weaver can be pretty aggressive if other team doesn't have disables, you can even dive towers with your speed and ult. One of the pros plays him a lot this way, can't remember his name, he's on newbee I think.
Other is a farming weaver. Weaver gets super strong late cus of his germinate attack and mobility. He farms pretty fast too cus of his mobility and shukuchi dmg. My brother plays him this way, will offlane, get to 6 then just farm til he has linkin's and deso, rotating through lanes and jungle, fighting when appropriate but not seeking team fights or major push. If you farm well and get linkin's/bkb and deso/daedulus by 20-25 mins you will be very strong.
I think you was talking about desolator.
I meant, you can't crit on second attack.
the only attack modifier that works is true strike. I'm pretty sure it works because I tested many attacks with an MKB against 6 butterflies and in all of them, the geminate also hit.
without the mkb, geminate would not proc if the initial attack missed, and if the initial attack did hit, the geminate still had a chance to miss.
otherwise, any other attack modifiers don't apply.
It doesn't apply modifiers on second attack which is why deso is so good on him cus first attack applies the debuff then second one does more dmg since armor is lower. But daedulus is good too, my only point was germinate gives him a free attack every second attack so he scales really well late game and you can build him as a late game carry rather then being super aggressive early. Some heroes don't work well doing that like viper, his poisons do not scale well into late game (well the speed debuffs do but not his dmg) so he just doesn't hurt enough late game unless way ahead and you have to fight early with him. Weaver can fight any time all game. Don't be afraid to farm some.
It's also why you probably want to do +dmg items over raw stats since increasing his attack speed doesn't help germinate any (fixed 2.5s cooldown) but increasing your raw dmg does. I'd go deso and daedulus over butterfly unless I really need the dodge.
If you want to perfectly shoot swarm into fog to hold off creepwave while pushing a tower, just look at your own creepwave in the opposite lane. They will mirror each other on the map showing you where to shoot.
Orb of venom is great pickup on him.
Weaver is all about chasing and killing, so orb help him tremendously.
But against a team that has no insane lock down ( bane, lion, bat ( perhaps ) ? , clock, doom and few others ) he gonna wreck them.
He's the hero that wears Divine Rapier the most dangerously... and often feeds it most stupidly
ez to die with lot of disables, but if weaver can finish BKB or Linken first will be gg
also its time lapse sucks --
you're all retards! you gonna do nothing for 30 min to get linken/bkb on that trash bracket to then start killing? 2cents pls
" He's the hero that wears Divine Rapier the most dangerously... and often feeds it most stupidly " < uhhmm no?
I'd rather have Medusa with divine, then weaver with it.
^ wow you rly like to live dangerously... i'd rather have only 1 of them carry divine
