I loved that card. Denied card advantage, gain card advantage, spot removal and win condition. He was fancy.
Yeah, print a card good for all formats. Seems solid. I ran a BUG Jace deck in states about 4 years back. Ran jace, bounce creatures to trigger Vengevine. Seems solid. Back when blue titan first became popular. Some silly fauna shaman build.
I ended up quitting Magic because it cost too much :p Dota is (mostly) free. But ... if you wanted to know, I had a B/W Tokens deck in Standard before adding cards to make it Modern. I still have it ... as far as I can tell the deck's still viable, I think?
Also saclands went the hell up in price wtf? I traded for a whole bunch of them at $12 value and now my Scalding Tarns are $75?!?
Tokens? For sure. Bitterblossom(To my knowedge) is banned so your powerhouse is out, however you still have options for early drops.
This dude/Thoughtseize/Duress on into other early studs. Aggro was never really my thing but Im sure it's still viable, just not tier 1.
