yea definitely scrub, but i am 4k and wont be playing with you so no hating..
3.8k is at the top of the bell curve of where everyone's MMRs are at. http://dota2toplist.com/statistics
well hey, at least im not in the 1-2k MMR like some of the people i know IRL. I am above all the people on my friends list, and i really wish you guys saw my tenth game

watch it if you want. The invoker was a dick though, so at the end we asked if the people would report for being an ass (communication abuse)
I was 3.4k mmr and now I am 2.5k mmr ( and still dropping mad fast ).
It seems I am to be blamed cause my team is incapable of doing anything.
pff good thing is I have a different account where winning never seems to be a different option.
I started at 3k then went to 2.7k then went to 3.4k and now stuck at 3.3k
But I'm in China which is apparently like 1k less than NA? That makes me feel good.
if your mmr is better than the players' you mostly play with, than its ok
as someone said before, the average is around 3,8 so its still a long way to go, but at least you can improve your game in bigger steps
The top list that Tyecon linked doesn't include everyones MMR, the average is, as said, closer to 2.5k. I don't know exactly what it is but before ranking were disclosed I think Valve said it was 2250? maybe someone can verify. To be 3k is to be ok. If you want, add me, I can watch your games and drop advice (I'm 4.3k currently, but fastly moving up - won 11 out of my last 12 ranked, I think my true rating will settle around 4.6k-4.8k)
I'd say that between 3 and 4k is "good enough", tbh. I started at 3.8k, dropped to 3.4k, and I'm now on a somewhat semi-steady rise again. #roadto4kmmr
