when you want to lose intentionally and not let your teammates get points

anyone feel the same u know what im saying
i just wanna power the fuck up, accumulate lots of energy to build it into a spirit bomb and throw it to every single fucker who cant play dota man

sometimes i alt tab and watch anime just to calm my mind but as soon as i see my teammates actions when i have to hit a creep or get exp to not get abandon, im totally confused by their stupidity

not even this cute and hilarious .gif can calm my mind after i experience one of these matches, th eonly shit that keeps me motivated to still play dota is when i see bad retards in the other team and i just cant let them win no matter what

i still win tho, but its a shame my teammates get points for bad plays

    Hopeless

I initially got the idea for the name "concede" because I just couldn't let my frustration with feeders get to me. I would simply say "I concede", set a stop watch for 4 mins, and sit in the well. Get xp once every 5 minutes with a shift-A click on the hard camp and wait for the game to end. Watch a show or read some manga.

I don't care if people don't get the xp or the gold they think they should in the early game, but I loathe players that have no idea how to not die early game. Sure, you die once. Maybe you die a second time a few minutes later. When a dual lane drops 6 deaths in the first 5 minutes.... gah its horrible.

Anyway.... if you can still win then just win.

Most recent games that i have typed "I concede" and given up early... if I recall correctly:

Only one time did I intentionally throw.

I had ganked mid early. The enemy got away with 1 hit left from my solo efforts (I pinged it several times while in bound, called in on mic, etc.). The OD sat there farming. I made a deal with him - I'd keep charging until he admitted he should have stepped forward and attacked once. I just wanted to hear it, that's all. I charged and charged and charged.

Beyond all my feeding, we still almost won. A person disconnected, and I took his items, which sealed the deal. I told that Juggernaut the same thing: Ask OD to admit the simple fact that he should have attacked once rather than get last hits right next to the action. The Juggernaut begged him, I begged him, but in the end, he never admitted any wrongdoing.

I felt genuinely bad for my teammates, but that player couldn't admit it was worth running up for literally 1.3 seconds to hit the enemy once.

I always thought it was weird to be so into a hobby as to make it your identity - names, images, etc. Some of the most visual variety in this odd bucket are those that really love anime and those that really love pot.

For w/e reason, dota and anime have always been linked (disproportionately to other games).

                        I have no idea why.

                        Chris.

                          no, dota+anime are not linked

Well I kind of know the feeling. A few matches ago I was Riki and my teammates were fairly...well, not great I suppose. However, because I didn't give up at any point in the game we almost came back to win it largely thanks to me (I know, I sound conceited but it's so true in this case). The opposing side kept buying wards and gems but I played it smart and helped my allies gain some levels in team fights (thank you smokescreen). Point is, instead of giving up even if things are looking grim, you can turn things around right quick with a little bit of smarts and cunning. It helps that I was Riki, sure, but a lot of heroes could pull off the same sort of thing I'm sure.

                                Just don't give up man.
