if I go carry. I got no good lane support no warding no ganking no initiation.
if I go support. They just farm and farm jungle and jungle and as a support quite boring wandering around the map hoping they can out farm enemy carries.

whenever i play with my friends (they're unranked but i'd say they're somewhere between 2.5k and 3k) i always go mid, either ez win with crazy snowball or heavy ass team making retarded plays from min 1 resulting in loss --

I stack with 1-2k higher players usually, best if they go mid, or if they go carry and tell me what they want me as support to do. If they are your friends, at least you have to be able to make them buying wards and use stuns when you call it...

I tried going support this match with a few friends and the poor sven couldn't last hit early if the creeps were down to 1hp and all he had to do was fart on them. (J/K)

Support can lack a bit in the ward/support item department but if you are obviously better than them. What will not help is having an underfarmed carry.

P.S. unlike what I did that match, go UNRANKED and try them out. It's fun to play with friends, but now so you don't get thrown more in the garbage bracket, do unranked only with them if you are sure to lose. As you see them getting better then take them out of the unranked and go ranked at some point.
