New Amateur Dota 2 League! in General Discussion
Jord

Hello! I've been playing Dota 2 for about a year and a half and I love it! I got my uncle to start playing with my brothers and cousins. Slowly, we've been getting progressively better. We were so pumped when team matchmaking came out! To our dismay it wasn't exactly what we expected. So my uncle and I got together and came up with Amateur Dota 2 League. What this league provides is consistent, reliable, weekly games for your team to practice against other amateur teams.

The season spans over 6 weeks. We currently have a league starting Thursday the 26th of December and then another league starting Tuesdays, the 7th of January 2014. Games begin at 9 pm EST and is bof2. 2 points for a win (2-0), 1 point for a draw (1-1), 0 points for loss.

The championship is a bof3. The players of the team that wins will receive a $10 dollar steam gift card.
http://amateurdota2league.com/ Sign up is extremely easy. The captains need to click the link, sign in through steam and you're finished. Once signed up, a team code will be provided. Give this code to the others on your team so they can show up on the roster. If you're team isn't all there come game time, stand-ins may play in place of the players absent. If a stand-in can't be found, you may use the AD2L chat channel or the AD2L guild to find a replacement. Free agents may also sign up, though, we can't 100% guarantee that you'll find a team. You can add the free agents to your friend's list through the website once signed in through steam. By clicking on the free agent's name, you'll be able to see their Dota Buff page. If you have questions, we WILL respond, fast. email us at: amateurdota2league@gmail.com Follow us on twitter @adota2l

As far as I know their website is exactly about small leagues and tournaments, who knows, something might work out :)
