Batrider used to be a great jungler until the new patch, probably they still haven't learned about the changes done to him. Lone Druid, Lifestealer, Doom and Ench could jungle quite successfully as well. I guess Dark Seer could jungle quite good too but it really depends on the team line up as he's a better offlaner imo.

If you stack properly, you can farm a dagger in 7~9 minutes.
Yeah but why would you jungle bat when you need him in lane? That's my point. Same with LD, naxi, doom and ench. All of those guys are awesome jungles and I prefer to jungle them. But I wont' do it at the expense of my team. People need to think instead of going afk in jungle.
Why would you jungle bat? Cause he is an awesome jungler that can gank lanes at level 6???? I dont see a reazon not to jungle him.

Do you know what stacking is? Efficiency? if you can win the lanes with having someone jungling is way better then wasting time in lane. Look at the top supports. "Don't need in lane? I'll just go jungle" - CM 2013.
what you fail to see is that it's pointless to compare a jungle bat to a laning bat
what you have to do is compare the effectiveness of the bat mid against a different mid hero while considering the effectiveness of bat in the jungle to another jungler
instead of a bat mid you could have a "better" mid (-10 base dmg does hurt a bunch) and have one of the best junglers (bat)
or you could even have a worse mid than batrider but still lane bat in the jungle because batrider is a lot better than another jungle hero while being only slightly better than the mid hero of you choice
the problem is not on jungle bat but on the players doing it. they insist on jungle yet they still farm a 30 min dagger they hit lvl 6 and they still dont gank. they go farm jungle and doesnt get their core items to help their team hence why jungle bat is bad in pubs.
FuckTheZero: You cant put it like that. Coz it all depends.... A batrider is the absolute best counter to pudge in the mid lane, he will pretty much get no last hits without risking the death, spam napalm on him, a quick pair of boots and then firefly and he will be dead with his already terrible movement speed + the napalm + your boots, its the easiest kill ever. But it all depends on the team... If the other team has an omniknight or something, then i wouldnt go batrider, not even against a pudgey wudgey mid.
Mark but usuallly that its not what happens, if i pick bat and say " mid " some ramdon guy on my team picks pudge and goes mid, so i have to jungle.
Plus bat is pretty good in the jungle, you just get lvl 6 and dagger.
My point is jungling should be situational not automatic. And jungling doesn't mean you never come out to gank (which 90% of these jungle players don't ever leave jungle, ever).
Batrider is a good jungler awhile back. One of the few heroes who can catch up to dual lanes even from starting behind. I've even seen a friend play who can keep up with solo mid heroes in terms of gold and levels. I'm not so sure now though.
Lycan used to be a good jungler a year ago so I suppose russians are still doing it. A really good Doom can get 500+ gpm. I go support doom and can easily get 500gpm on a support doom with midas, mek, pipe and vlads. An poor or average LD can get phase boots, regen boots and a few items + radiance before 30 mintues. As for Enchantress she can rush midas, head for phase, rush staff and she's set before 30 mintues. and NP is a beast in the jungle. Sure he starts off slow but once he gets level 2 on those treants it's pretty fast.
Lycan is a very good jungler. I just started play jungler 1 month ago, with Lycan. I got 15 W 7 L and often went 600+ GPM.
Bat is still one of the fastest junglers if your team lets you get the first pull and you don't get unlucky w/ double mud golems. 8min blink dagger is easily doable, fastest is 6 if supports stack for you.

How is lycan still good? At lvl 1? The wolf dps/hp is low, you blow through so many consumables or you run back to base to heal at least once. Lycan starts snowballing in jungle around level 5 so maybe you think you're doing good cus by lvl 10 and a rosh kill you're all caught up but I think it's better to lane at least the first 3 levels.

Why do people insist on doing stupid shit like jungling batrider? Or axe? Or lycan? This is more of a rant thread than a strategy one, but here is a list of heroes I would always jungle at level one:
Enigma
Chen
That's it. Here's the heroes I would jungle at 1 if it's more beneficial to jungle than lane (meaning I prefer to jungle these guys but if your lanes aren't setup to do so, it's better to lane):
Lifestealer
Doom
Enchantress
Nature's Prophet
Lone Druid sometimes (he's probably better in lane if done right)
If you're playing dark seer, axe or bat don't f'ing jungle. While I realize they *can* do it, their lane abilities are so strong it's a complete waste to jungle them. Lycan, don't jungle him, it's not efficient at 1. At 3 or 4 when you have better wolves you can go do some jungle farming to get your rosh items.
I also can't stand when players play good junglers and automatically assume they must jungle, like enchantress. Say you have no mid options, enchantress can fill in but nooo that would ruin her awesome jungle farm! I'm just tired of the stupidity. Thread was brought on by a match where we had nature's and batrider and the bat afk jungled first 15 mins of game.
