Change to the offlane, probably 2-1-2 will come back this combined with the early game focused meta, and the less pick % of late game carries such, alch, AM, Gyro will bring us to a new meta of early agression and 40+ kill games ending in less than 30 minutes

- Static Storm max damage increased from 170/220/270 to 200/250/300
- Added Aghanim's upgrade: Static Storm silences items, and lasts an extra 2 seconds < this for sure a big impact..

Other than bs's buff there are some useless buffs, other nerfs was pretty okay but the buffs are pretty stupid it seems like they created a noob patch for noobs.. Especially venge and pudge using a dagger? Pretty stupid.. Pudge earned its respect due to its hook's effectiveness why make him use a dagger? Simple, for those who can't even use hook properly..
Ok back to the topic, imo everything will be ruined with this patch, new meta? Non-sense, everything was fine until this patch came in if and only if it will be implemented soon..

I don't understand why is everyone taking that longer day/night cycle thing as a buff to NS. When it was 6 minutes NS usually got level 6 and just about that time the night began. But now when the night begins he will at most be level 5 with only 1 level in passive or with no silence. How is this even a buff? This will hit his first night ganking supreme pretty hard.
I know it also means that Darkness will be more effective but if he can't gank well at first night that hero starts to become useless.
It will still be night at the same time it would have switched to night. By the time it's back to day he can easily pop the ult again to sustain it if need be.
@Sam because it opens up the possibility of earlier ganks. In middle this means you can contest runes earlier on instead of being a sitting duck. In trilanes you become a formidable force faster into the game. I know the shorter nights mean you have lesser time to do endless ganking but it also means that NS is more reliable now. Previously as 'pro' players have agreed, surviving the first night pretty much meant shutting NS down because the following night would come 18 minutes into the game. Now it comes in at 12.

The 4 min night is just to make it easier to gank earlier and more often. When you combine this with an uncertain Roshan time its going to create a meta game with more action and shorter farming periods when the pro game audience interest falls off.
As snowman said it makes NS a bit more consistent and harder to counter...but I don't think its really for him.
Yup, biggest changes are the non hero ones regarding creep waves meeting in offlane, neutral camp relocation (and all neutral xp lowered) and xp range. They're trying to remove tri lane and jungle/tri's basically. Extra xp range will make it much harder to box out their offlaner, less xp from the camp pulls, less xp in general for junglers. Making tranquil not disassemble is a nerf to jungles too. I know many people are not a fan of ursa and lycan in jungle but they would often go tranquils and disassemble into vlads.
I also think they changed too many heroes too drastically at once but I'm glad to see some of my favorites get buffed (disruptor, skywrath, omni, witch dr) plus the general support buffs with tranquil and more passive gold.
Slark is actually a pub nerf since pubs rarely ward/dust against slark anyway. He used to be able to init with ult and have it up again to escape when teams rotated.
Its not my point that all of the enemy heroes has below health wtf? are you dead serious? What am I trying to say if someone has below health how can they counter bs and if the enemy team has all global spells which can inflict a heavy damage (zeus ult, np's ulti, etc etc) and bs will just go to through that enemy and kill him off then go back fast right w/o needing any precautions am I right or wrong?
To summarize, EZ KILL EZ WIN EZ GOLD EZ FARM? Every CD of these global spells = gg.. And the point is, the buff is so wrong which makes neutral camp heroes like doom/bat harder to farm gold which forces these heroes to go to a lane..
Yes that's the main objective of this patch. However, there are some changes that is very ridiculous and what I primarily disliked about this patch is the buff on bs lol, just get global skills and the one w/ vision is alr dead, also vs, pudge, alche (alche huge regen buff but no armor wtf are you going to do in clash?).. too ez..
PS: I liked some of the changes but others, are nah nvm them they're trash buffs/nerfs..
but yeah the bs rework seems too unreal. make the the speed cap castable with a 60 second cd or something ms is important in this game otherwise what is the point of playing against the new superman
I just wanna know the reason why they should "override" the whole game, even to the details (like day night cycle time to flying courier must after 3 mins of game). Is the game are getting stagnant in terms of gameplay? Or they force a shifted metagame?
TBH, hero character wise it's more interesting. Like we got a F1 now, and fishy2 is now undetected, a spider that really climbs and dead man blinking lol

that's a nerf to slark, not making the hero broken.

You can dislodge those spells now.
Previously, some stuns could be dodged with blink like Skeleton King's but others like RK could not be dislodged.
