Well, they could add that option, but that would just spam the chat. This is not a forum like PHPBB. There is not even a search option. Also you cant even customize your profiles as all the data is taken form steam profile, nor there is any use of HTML, or even BB code in the posts.
I'm not saying that this is bad, but a little bit pointless. But it's just me, and my strange fetishes :)

such as u copy a html code and paste in the signature section on the forum like PHPBB

I think it'd be cool to be able to link to a .png for a forum signature that shows your most played hero, w/l, and other stats.
