illusion runes have been so lame. dota 1 legacy. should be removed.
ive never picked up an illusion and gone like "oh yea i really needed that"
Only time I've ever found illusion rune to be good was when I found an illu rune bot, and I sent my hero (Pudge) and one illusion to camp mid, and I sent the illusion to top rune where I knew he had wards. I micro'd the top illusion a bit to make it seem I was ganking. I let the other units AFK. Enemy SF felt safe and returned to last hit and I fucked him in the ass with a Hook and a Raindrop
naga, tb, am, and in the early game, axe
axe can use an illusion rune to farm like 2 camps or push 2 waves, theyre nasty
I'm always happy tho if I play Spec and I will have a chance to get that illusion rune so that I can steal farm from enemy jungle or just for pushing other lanes.
All radiance heroes + meepo, or any hero if u want to bite enemy heroes.
It's so fun to see ulties falling over the support illusion's head
If its like 10 min in and axe gets an illusion rune his illusions can solo kill supports cuz they spin.
Chaos Knight likes that rune, he's the only one putting it in combat use with sync to his rift I think
Illusion rune is only good for scouting I guess
yeee its godlike on CK. people think you used your ulti and usually will get surprise butt raped :)
They used to be pretty amazing on TB, but then the damage taken by illusions got increased and I think the actual illusion rune damage and other shit got nerfed too.
