Early levels on ES are super good so I could see this being a possibility. Only problem is his relatively small starting hp.
I mean maybe duel offlane and gank at lvl 3, orb of venom slow was also nerfed so that hurts him a bit too.
Problem is, he doesn't offer much harass so most likely the enemy safelane will still get decent farm despite you duel offlaning.
Solo offlane Es is gg tho
@Negativity Spreader his spells will help you to harass (you can kick a creep to last hit and deal damage to the enemy hero)

Okay, since Earth Spirit got nerf after nerf he might not be able to gank earlier in games that's a bit of a problem for me but An offlane Earth Spirit ain't bad I played him in a lane before I shifted into roaming Arcane Viel BM Shiva make him tankier to stay longer in team fights
