Do you really? It's not like these forums have a lot of substantial action. Would you rather just stay silent most of the time and occasionally post some ayy lmao?
To all those who complain about toxic community, notice the example provided by this thread. The moment OP disappears from it it goes silent. Calm and reasonable conversation that results in an immediate agreement or mild compromise is done and dusted in an instant. Inflammatory arguments between representatives of vastly different viewpoints that share probably nothing but the passion for the subject matter can go on forever.
Therefore toxic shitheads are the ones keeping any online community alive.
Oh btw. Its been a while but I thought I would update this thread by saying that after grinding a lil while i am now far away from the 900 mmr shitfest i was in when i made this thread.
Oh btw. Its been a while but I thought I would update this thread by saying that after grinding a lil while i am now far away from the 900 mmr shitfest i was in when i made this thread.
i mean the entire argument is that lower ranks are more of a shitshow and the individual burden can be perceived as higher. though it's probably not exactly true - most if the time its enough die once in 3k lategame as a position 5 and your cores will feed without buyback as if they still had their position 5 to save everyone, almost exactly like they would in 1k... and even then, behavior score makes a bigger difference in terms of how unplayable the game is.
I would still argue that 1k is harder than 3k. When I perform well I win, when I perform bad I lose. That wasnt the case in 1k where ur team would perform badly and lose for you. I guess it sounds crazy /shrug
I feel like there is more leeway around my own game to an extent as well. If I have a rough game its safe to assume that my team might be decent enough to still win the game, as was the case with some of my recent (clinkz, templar assassin) games. In 1k if i went anything less that 2 k/d it was practically a garunteed loss.
my experience with monkeyking,
in 1k im just running to enemy for kills
in 2k i should jump down from tree to kill a hero
in 3k i should use mischief to kill a hero
if u play monkeyking, u will see huge skill difference between 1k , 2k and 3k
if u play pusher heroes in 1k and 2k, u just feel bad about what u are doing to them!
i dont know about ur experience in 3k, if u have 2k mmr what u know about 3k games?
if u are talking about 3k party games, well party games is very very different games!!!!
the only time party games are really different from solo in terms of gameplay is if you stack as 5 lol, especially because you get matched with soloq players if you stack as 2 or 3. and as 5 it's possibly even much harder than solo (not always coz if you get feeders in soloq it's extremely hard, and stacking as 5 you usually dont have feeders) unless your team is all friends who all use voice chat and understand how their teammates want to play (which being fair is usually how op plays party mmr from what i understand)... if you queue as 5 to meme around prepare to get stomped by sweaty tryhards with voice chat lol. unless of course you, or the other stack in your team, stack with somebody who has high solo and low party mmr; and if you dont have such a player theres a good chance that the enemy team will have one.
i can understand disrespecting party mmr abusers who play only with other good players to remove the risk of getting incompetent teammates or role steals, but as somebody who mostly plays party games with people worse than myself, and very rarely as 5, i really don't share the idea that party is easier.
I think below a given point, the games are so easy that you can play any role and win. That's how I'm feeling right now after going 3-7 in calibration. I can play mid again, I can play carry, I can play support, I can first-pick, I can safely counterpick (either last pick or second pick, it doesn't matter), I no longer lose my lane, and it feels like my items just magically counter their cores.
Understandably, for a player like Violet used to being the omega wolf (in terms of DotA skill, at least) in a 5-stack, that's a lot of stress and pressure. She will feel that 1k games are harder than 3k because she can only rely on herself. I understand the pressure (I'm more of a beta wolf, back-up core type player), but it also feels incredibly empowering to just stomp 1k noobs into oblivion. That's probably why I feel 1k games are easier than 3k games.
If you keep on pace, which you will not, in a mere half a year you will finally be capable of actually making the OP statement in a proper fashion. We are all shaking in anticipation.

Actually I quite often played in stacks where I would be the back-up core.
And yes I just replied to this thread 18 days too late cause I am blind as a bat and I did not read past my last comment and its my thread so I can do what I want leave me alone.
It's actually your thread woooosh are you happy for having this or do you feel ashamed that your name is written in the first page of a meme-like thread which contains hateful comments as well?

Its a showcase of how pathetic and hateful some people are. They will be remembered for being pathetic and hateful.
but you gotta agree that solo games are more stressing than party games tho,its also not fun
?
Solo games are really enjoyable if your behavior score is around 6k and you get to play with people from Eastern Europe(those who meme with Russians about their language etc)
why Vertoxity?
let the dead rest
He was getting sad cause nobody has paid attention to him for a few days
Dead and gone...
Hehe.
lol i would rekt 1k players anytime.. how is it harder when i am rekting almost every 3k player..
I missed my Violet
I missed the time I didn't have chronic depression
Some more charitable mind-reading, I see. Or is it projection? Which one is more realistic? Hmmm.

I havent played enough to climb, definately still gaining mmr tho but thats from 1 or 2 solo ranked games a week
Playing Dota 2 in 2k19? Lol.
Well my fellow Dotabuff posters, we have done it. We have officially strayed as far away of God as was possible in our most pathetic form

Onwards to 3k! :)
I just want to say as a forever archon guy, I climbed from 800 to 2k with relative ease in my main, I always have winstreak i even went on a 21 ranked games winstreak (proof: https://www.dotabuff.com/players/177536254/matches?enhance=overview&lobby_type=ranked_matchmaking&page=10 ),
so I don't know how a self acclaimed 3/4k player can't do that... gl btw.
Yes, congratulations! We told you so, okay now that you escaped the pool, how stupid do you feel about making those claims that 1k is harder than 3K?
may you go up even higher

that seems horrendous
games are hard when you rely on luck to win. try taking some BSJ coaching sessions
So in canine terms she is a bitch?
big yikes^
^^ I believe in canine terms it would be backup food source for a harsh winter.
