1st - started my bachelors in geography (lmao) and did a whole year before going for econ/finance, one year wasted
2nd - did russian military service because why not: could've done some internships and worked towards CFA II / III or some other shit, instead I spent a year doing nothing 😂
military service even if shitty in most cases, still teaches you something and you grow a bit in my opinion.
I had a shitty military service, I even wanted to do a career in it at the beginning, when I saw how shitty it was with people behaving like assholes for no reason i decided just to do the standard course and be done with it.
Still it tought me to be more diligent, active and plan a bit ahead.
I'm not gonna listen to life advices from a person who lived with his parents in a village for 40 years.
